Powerful Presentations

I saw a number of impressive Powerpoint presentations in the last couple days of class which taught me about different majors and what kinds of things people would like to pursue. Leann's presentation about marketing and advertising was interesting; I did not know about the variety of career options in that field or the specific techniques used in advertising. Her design was simple but clear, so it did not become overwhelming with the incorporation of the photos she used to explain her points. I also liked the video that she incorporated into her presentation. She placed it at the end of the presentation, which I thought was really effective because it made her presentation memorable.

Ellie's presentation about Henry Guerra and communication also sticks out in my mind because I did not know about his impact on San Antonio. Adding a personal element to her presentation made it unique and she was very enthusiastic about her topic. The links she provided were also informative and her layout was appealing. She also ended on a memorable note by Henry Guerra's signature signoff.
