HTML code
There are many reasons for web designers to know the basics of HTML code, but the main reason can be applied to any process: you have to know the basics and get a good grasp on the subject before you can advance further. It is important for web designers to know HTML code so they can go in and manually edit their pages in case the programs cannot access specific parts that need to be fixed. Also, relying on these programs can be problematic because they might not work with the type of website you want to create or simply malfunction. Without knowing the basics of HTML code, the website might not look as professional as a website that is made with the knowledge of both the website creation software and the ways that HTML functions. It could be harder to edit or fix in case something goes wrong.
