Advice for new students

The best piece of advice I can give after taking this class is simply to pay attention and try to be present at every class since it is really about hands-on learning. You can learn a lot and have fun in this class if you keep up. At first I was not so sure how I would do in this class because I am not very technology-oriented. I was surprised at how much I learned though. The skills that I learned in this class will be useful for future classes, jobs (it's great to be able to add proficiency in Microsoft office, Photoshop, and Expression Web to your resume), or any new assignments or ideas needed for clubs or anything else you can think of! As long as you stay on top of your work and don't procrastinate, this class will help you learn so much.
