A little about me...

My name is Maria Tariq and I'm from The Woodlands, Texas, a town north of Houston. Here is The Woodlands:

I liked living in this small, relatively quiet community where I discovered the sport of rowing just two years ago. I joined The Woodlands' Crew for the last two years of high school, and although I had to constantly push myself mentally and physically, I also had a lot of fun out on the lake. I also enjoy playing and watching tennis, although I don't play competitively on any teams. Even though I have spent almost nine years in The Woodlands, my family has moved so many times that I can safely say I've lived in six different places. Here at Trinity, I am on the Trinity Review Literary Magazine committee and I participate in TMN. I have been thinking a lot about my major and right now I am leaning towards International Relations. I have pretty basic computer skills, including word processing, powerpoints, emailing, and making simple graphs in Excel. I also have a facebook so you can look me up and you can email me at: mtariq@trinity.edu

Hi, Maria,
This is such hard work:
I joined The Woodlands' Crew for the last two years of high school, and although I had to constantly push myself mentally and physically, I also had a lot of fun out on the lake.
I admire your dedication to your sport!

Hey girl!! I'm so glad to have another class with you! Great job on your blog! It really told me a lot about you that I didn't know! I am in Introduction to Spanish American Literature this semester. What about you? Are you still in a Spanish class?
